Chapter Plans

The first step is to build a base of members.  This will be pursued through:

(1) a table at the WNY diocesan convention in late October

(2) contacts with parishes to determine who in each parish might be interested in the EPF

We anticipate a small organizing meeting in November and a first official meeting in January.  After that, the frequency of meetings will be up to the chapter.  Possibly there should be 4-5 per year.

The next step will be to build a Parish Action Network (PAN).

The PAN will consist of parish EPF representatives (2 or 3 per parish) in as many parishes as possible, so that when an issue arises (for example, a vote in Congress) the network can be activated quickly, parish representatives can contact people in their parishes, and a large number of Episcopalians can take action.
